The Write on Wednesday spark: The stories a tree could tell.
Take a look at the above photo (by Story). Use it to inspire your Write on Wednesday post. Keep your post on the short side: up to 500 words OR a 5 minute stream of consciousness exercise. Link your finished piece to the list and begin popping by the other links in the list. Enjoy!

And in English:;-)
Since the beginning of life we are standing on a small island in the raging sea. Where the wind always blows and often you can  only guess whether it is day or night, because daylight is there behind towering black thunderheads, but not for us. I am not alone. We are  10, defying the weather on this slope. Zerupfte gnarled skeletons formed by the weather, that dig into life.

Often, my eyes wandered over to the mainland. Huge standing there one of us. Large enough  to give wood for everyone. His majestic head broke through the clouds, he saw the sun, even if the fighting raged below him between water and air. I looked at it longingly. He did not have to twist and bend in the wind.

When the fall came, it  came hard and fast. That night the world seemed to torn appart. Up was down, the rain lashed from all sides. A blow, time stopped in the following natural lightning and lluchten he had gone down from his throne, now lay in the sand, sacrificed nothing more than driftwood, sea.

Even now I felt envy.
